AMD designed the DR machine based on techniques perfected through decades of experience in the furniture industry. This results in a machine with a unique process which produces door and window elements of furniture quality, at a blistering pace.

Thorough workpiece clamping by means of compressed air and/or vacuum.
Workpieces remain clamped during entire production process
Left- and right-turning tools or counter-profiles ensure a furniture-quality finish.
Operations are executed in parallel, for high
Simultaneous sawing to length, drilling of several longitudinal holes, simultaneous end milling and drilling.
Still while a component is being machined, the preceding finished component is being evacuated and a following component is already being entered. The machine is never not machining for longer than 2 à 3 seconds. in between successive workpieces.
Unprecedented speed: the prototype machine produced just over 1,000,000 elements of windows and doors in 2 years as illustrated here.
Connections, hinges, lock cases… are manufactured in a single pass.
Multifunctional machine : also ideal for components beyond door and window elements.
Because of its high production rate, an automatic workpiece loader is of no use.
The machine is automatically programmed based on a 3D drawing of the desired door or window element. Laborious machine programming and errors are a thing of the past.
Compact machine with built-in place-based dust extraction, only one external extraction tube is required. Machine extracts only at the place of machining.
Can be installed directly on the concrete floor. No need to make subfloor spaces.
